It's really easy to feel lonely and left-out if all of your friends are dating people and you're not.
I can totally understand what that feels like, and I get why you feel like you need to fill some sort of void. I know that moving on from an ex can be really difficult, and in that time, you might crave companionship so that you don't feel so lonely. But rebounds are really emotionally exhausting, and they're not fair to the other person (or you). don't date someone just to have someone to hook up with.
Maybe you're denying your sexuality to yourself and you don't want to admit what you're doing...
or maybe you're denying your sexuality to other people by pretending to be straight to keep up an appearance. Please don't feel like you have to pretend to be someone you're not to please others. Third, if your partner doesn't know what you're doing, it's pretty selfish.
I have a million things that I’ve been dying to tell you. In doing so, I’ve experienced a lot of who you are not. I wouldn’t have recognized you five or 10 or 15 years ago. Relax and let the water carry us over—instead of my stubborn grasping on to this tiny brittle twig. And I want it desperately like I want to release a breath that I’ve been holding for too long. And here is what I learned: the right thing is always a doorway unto itself.
I have so much that I want to say to you, to share with you. I’ve been working—on lots of things, including figuring out who I am and subsequently who you are. I’ve plunged through loopholes before—more than I care to count.

Instead of focusing on making someone else jealous, just focus on enjoying yourself and doing what you want to do.Source: Shutter Stock This is another really common reason that people end up in the wrong relationships. Waiting suggests passivity and I certainly haven’t been sitting on my ass waiting (for anything). And not being an asshole means doing the right thing. And isn’t that ironic because if we met then, it might have been the time. But not for me, because as I said, I wouldn’t have recognized you, understood you, accepted you, loved you. As for you, although you may recognize me as a person who might be right for you, I am not, not now. To acquiesce to the loopholes that seem so clearly laid out for us. But as I said, while I’ve been waiting, I’ve been working. It’s not necessarily, or typically, easy to walk through, but it always has its own direct path. The task at times is to allow the feeling to be, but to do precisely the opposite.
